Fishing Journal for Ohio's Mad River, Brookville Tailwater, Smallmouth, and Steelhead

About Us

The Pescado meaning “caught fish in spanish” was designed to fill the void of fishing reports around our local area in the Southwestern region of Ohio. Ohio is a fantastic region and is a GEM to the locals that have fished around here. Our region is plentiful of water and our rivers around here are very diverse in species that you can target. From taking a Mad River trout on a dry, to throwing a deer-hair popper to a bronzeback on the Little Miami River, our region offers local anglers many different fishing opportunities whether you are a conventional or fly.

As the General Manager and Head Guide of ReelFlyRod.com/SugarCreek Fly Shop, I have grown up along these streams for nearly all my life. Riding my bike to the Little Miami when I was a young lad, hooking smallmouth, to now guiding clients on my local streams, I absolutely love my region and I wanted to have The Pescado highlight the wonderful opportunities around my region

I hope you enjoy The Pescado and it helps provide additional knowledge when in or around this region!
